Health & Safety

I must be aware of health and safety throughout this project, especially when using new media and specialist materials. These are things I should consider:

Computer

• Posture - Sit up straight
• Eyes level with the top of the screen
• Have breaks from looking at the screen every 20 minutes 

Experimenting

• Take care when using sharp cutting tools like scissors, scalpels and guillotines 
• Read warnings on pens and liquids and don't inhale or drink. If anything goes in your eye wash with warm water.
• Ensure lightbox and electrical equipment is turned off after use
• Use saftey strap on camera so you don't drop it. Hold correctly with left hand under the lens to zoom (light graffiti)
• Be aware of light sources such as lasers and the danger of looking directly at bright light (light graffiti)
• Only use sparklers in large outdoor areas (light graffiti)
